  • Will the online classes be recorded?

    Yes, absolutely. Each class will be recorded and saved (for 48 hours) in case you cannot make it to the LIVE Zoom session.

  • What does "Adv Beginner" mean?

    Advanced Beginner: 2-5 years taking dance classes. Complete understanding and proficiency in discipline and general dance terminology. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Open Level mean: class is for all. Starts at a basic beginner level then it will gradually get tougher. It all depends on the level the majority of the class is in.

  • What is the address of the IN-Person NYC classes

    The IN-PERSON class will be located in Ripley Grier Studios, Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The exact address, room number and more can be found in the "Location" section after sign in.

  • If I cannot make it to the in person class, can I get a refund or credit?

    12-hour cancellation notice required for a class credit. No refunds at this time.

Maria has dedicated herself to the Latin dances the Mambo and Bachata for the past 15 years but began her dance training in ballet at the age of eight. Her career highlights include performing in New York and internationally with artists such as Kanye West, Ciara, Shakira, P-Diddy, Romeo Santos, and recently the Grammys with Rihanna. Since joining the Latin dance community, Maria has performed and taught all around the world, and as one of the original members of The NY Movement, ESPN competitive team. Maria is highly sought after within the global Latin dance community to perform, teach, and judge elite competitions around the world.
